Project Community Pride
On May 20th, the Madison Area YMCA hosted a 5k run to benefit its youth counseling program, Project Community Pride. Families and friends were invited to participate in a 5k marathon run and a “1-Mile Family Fun Run,” while enjoying beverages and food provided by Dartcor and its purveyors. The program, an “important extension of youth development services for children, teens and their families,” is offered in local schools and offices in Madison, Chatham and Florham Park by licensed clinical social workers. Project Community Pride hopes to further the YMCA’s commitment to youth development and mental health issues. Click here to learn more about the programs and events the Madison Area YMCA has to offer!
